Here’s how you can win up to Rs 1,00,000 using Google Pay app




NEW DELHI: Search giant Googe introduced its payment app Google Tez in India last year. The app enables users to link their bank account and make payments using UPI. Now in order to promote its payments service in India Google has renamed the service as Google Pay and has announced attractive reward scheme for its users.



The company has announced that the customers can stand a chance to win rewards of up to Rs 1,00,000 if they transact using Google Pay. In order get the reward users need to make a minimum of five transactions using Google Pay till 9AM on September 18. To be eligible for the reward, users need to make P2P transactions, payments to other bank accounts, payments to merchants using cash mode and payments to bank account of merchants using the Google Tez UPI ID.



As per the Google Pay offer, the company is giving a total of 50 million rewards and the reward denomination varies from Rs 5 to Rs 1,00,000. The company also claims that only few lucky winners will be able to win the full amount.


Along with the rewards, the Google Pay app is also offering instant loans. For the loans the company has tied up with various banks as this will offer easy and early access of loans to the users directly via the app.



Google's Tez team is working with popular brands in the country like Big Bazaar and others to add Tez payments options. Google hopes that by Diwali this year, the adoption of Tez will drastically increase in the country with major footprint in the retail segment. Google is targeting to reach over 15,000 retail stores along with over 20,000 merchants.
